Thank you for visiting my website regarding Service Academy Nomination Applications.
As your United States Senator, I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of people to four of the five service academies each year. The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
I encourage you to also apply for a nomination from your other nominating sources: Senator Thom Tillis and your home district’s U.S. Representative, ROTC, active duty unit commanders and others. For a complete list of nominating sources, please check with any academies to which you are applying.
In order to submit your application materials, you will need to create an account and provide information via the following direct link:
2024 Service Academy Application
Once you have submitted all of your application materials, the Service Academy Coordinator may contact you to schedule an interview with my Service Academy Board, which is composed of military dignitaries and community leaders. The interviews will take place after the October 31st application deadline. This process is highly competitive. Due the volume of applications my office receives, not all applicants will qualify for an interview.
My office’s application window will be open until October 31, 2024. Incomplete applications cannot be considered, and no late applications will be accepted or reviewed.
Please see the Frequently Asked Questions section below for answers to common questions, but do not hesitate to contact my Advance office at 336-941-4470 with any additional concerns.
Thank you for your willingness to serve our country.
