Washington, D.C. — Today, Senators Ted Budd (R-NC) led a coalition of U.S. Senators to introduce a resolution that:
“Condemns the violent, anti-American and anti-Israel protests that are occurring on campuses of institutions of higher education nationwide; and expresses its thanks for the patriotic actions of law enforcement in New York City and in Chapel Hill, the University of North Carolina interim Chancellor Lee Roberts, and fraternity brothers at the University of North Carolina.”
The resolution is also supported by Senators Mike Lee (R-UT), Marco Rubio (R-FL), John Barrasso (R-WY), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Jim Risch (R-ID), Joni Ernst (R-IA), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), and Mike Crapo (R-ID).
The House resolution is led by Rep. Dan Bishop and sponsored by Reps. Greg Murphy, Tim Burchett, Randy Weber, Jeff Duncan, Andy Biggs, Dusty Johnson, Andrew Clyde.
