Washington, D.C. — Senator Ted Budd (R-NC) has co-sponsored S. 3068, the VA Home Loan Awareness Act.
The bipartisan bill would add a disclosure to the standard mortgage pre-qualification application highlighting the VA Home Loan Program, thereby increasing awareness of the option for veterans.
The bill was originally introduced by Senators Mike Braun (R-IN) and Sherrod Brown (D-OH).
Sen. Budd said in a statement:
“The men and women who served our country in uniform deserve all the support we can give them. Making it easier for veterans to purchase a home is a worthy mission and I’m proud to support Senator Braun’s bill to help.”
